Short Film News (SFN)- Persian Carpet, a documentary directed by 15 Iranian directors, are going to be shown in Montreal International Film Festival in Canada.

Persian Carpet first was shown in Cannes Festival market. And now is experiencing its premiere in Montreal Festival in Hors Concours (World Greats) section.

This section of Montreal Festival is especially for the films directed by prominent filmmakers all around the world.

All the necessary coordination was done between Farabi Cinema Foundation and Montreal Festival so that 15 directors of this film participate in the festival and the premiere of this film will be done together with a special program and press conference.

A Handmade Gift Presented to a Friend by Majid Majidi, Eloquent Carpet by Bahram Beizaiee, Tree of Life by Abbas Kiarostami, The Carpet and The Angel by Darius Mahrjoiee, No Response to Paging by Rakhshan Banietemad, Carpet, Horse, Turkmen by Khosrow Sinaiee, Memory, Memory... by Reza Mirkarimi, Nomadic Carpet by Behrooz Afkhami, The Little Prince by Noreddin Zarrinkelk, Carpet and life by Bahman Farmanara, Not for Sale by Seifollah Dad, The Command of Aqa Seyyed Reza by Mojtaba Raaiee, Untying the Knot by Jafar Panahi, Land Carpet by Kamal Tabrizi, and Copy Cannot Beat the Genuine by Mohammad Reza Honarmand are the episodes of this film.

Montreal International Film Festival is going to be held from 23 August till 3 September 2007 in Montreal, Canada.
