The Winners of the 25th Tehran International Short Film Festival

Short Film News (SFN)- The winners of the 25th edition of Tehran International Short Film Festival were announced last night in Andishe Hall.

The honored diploma of the best documentary went to Iran Wild Life by Mani Mir Sadeghi and the Trophy of this section was dedicated to Old Man Peter by Ivan Glovnev from Russia.

In Experimental Section the honored diploma went to Ando C by Shahram Mokri from Iran and Wild Dove by Koldo Almandez from Spain won the trophy of this part.

The trophy of the best animation was dedicated to Tongue of the Hidden by David A. Anderson from England. The film which was about the famous poet, Hafez, was shown in this ceremony and the audiences admired the director while the award was being given to him.

The Crab by Xavier Seron from Belgium won the trophy of the best fiction and the trophy of the best film of the festival went to Gilles by Constant Mentzas from Canada.

The trophy of Questing the Truth went to Mothers Finest by Nadine Kuipers from Netherlands.

Everything is O.K by Akjol Bekbolotov from Kyrkyzstan won the trophy of Asia Eastern Perspective.

Also The Holy Light by Ali Saeid Pour from Iran won the trophy of Islamic Nations section.

 ECHO organization believed that none of the films deserved the first and the second position of its awards but it dedicated its third award to Slope from Turkey.
