Short Film News- An Iranian short animation received an award in Zagreb World Festival of Animated Films.

This festival was held in Croatia from 12 to 17 June and The Raven 1 by Ravanbakhsh Sadeghi received Net Surfer award as the best short internet animation.

This festival consisted of two sections: animated shorts and features and in short animation section Dreams and Desires (Joanna Quinn) from England received the grand prize.

In this section Levijatan (Simon Bogojevich) from Hungary won Zagreb Golden award and Insomnia (Vladimir Leschiov) from Leetonia received the best first film prize. 

Also the prize of international critics was given to Dreams and Desires and the best student prize was given to Bouts En Train (Emilie Sengelin) from France.

The Little Match Girl (Roger Allers) from USA won the best film for children prize and the audience award of the Grand competition was given to Pro Ivana Duraka (Mikhail Aldashin and Oleg Uzhinov) from Russia.
