Short Film News (SFN) - Two Iranian documentaries are among the selected films for competition in Guangzhou International Festival, China.

In the 4th edition of Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival which is going to be held from 4 to 9 December 2006 in China, The Daughters of Sunshine by Mehdi Naderi and The Trade of Bone by Abdolrahman Alami are going to be shown in the competition section.

The two above mentioned films are going to be competed with other films from about 23 countries such as Italy, France, Spain, U.S.A, Germany, China, Japan, Poland, U.K, Netherlands, Canada, India, Australia, Peru, Colombia, New Zealand, Bulgaria, etc. to win the Grand Prize of Guangzhou.

The Grand Prize of this festival whose theme is Facing Poverty is 5000 USD which is going to be given to the best film.

Michel Noll from France is the Jury President of this festival.
