Short Film news (SFN) - The 3rd edition of Didar Film Festival is going to take place with the news sponsorship of SFN and Iran’s strong presence in Tajikistan.

Didar Festival whose one of the founders is Mohsen Makhmalbaf is going to take place in two sections: short films and features.

Short film Limit of Circle by Shahram Mokri and feature Night Bus by Kiomars Pourahmad are the two Iranian films in the International Competition of the festival and would compete with other films from Central Asia, Caucasus, Russia, Afghanistan, etc.

In addition to the presence of Iranian films in the festival, Houshang Golmakani, the Iranian experienced journalist and critic and the editor in chief of Film monthly is among the jury members. Also some of Iranian actors and actresses are among the festival guests such as Mahnaz Afshar, Katayoun Riahi, etc.
 
Documentary & Experimental Film Centre is going to dedicate the second Joint Heritage Award, which is 4 thousand Dollars, to the best film among the Persian speaking countries.

The 3rd edition of Didar Film Festival is going to take place from 12th till 16th October in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
