KMIG Awards Goes To Iranian Films

Short film News (SFN) - 2nd Kurdish Festival of Moving Images took place April 12 & 13 in Australia and all of the festival awards went to Iranian films.

The prize for the best director went to Salem Salavati for Snowy Dreams and Hamid Mehr Afroz get best cinematographer award for This Place The Roads Have not End.

The prize for the best editor went to Kianosh Moshirvaziri for Border.

The Jury including Jane Mills, Tom Zubrycki and Vahid Vahed chose the winners after seeing 14 short films.

KMIG Festival established by Kurdish Moving Images Group for promote the works of young and unknown Kurdish filmmakers.
