Short Film News (SFN)- Angels Die in the Soil by Babak Amini is the sole representative from Iran in the 14th edition of Palm Springs International Short Film Festival.

According to this report, this year, about 300 films from 40 different countries are going to be participated in this festival which is the most important short films' event in the North America.

Angels Die in the Soil together with 4 other short films are going to be screened in a program: Homeland Security.

Palm Springs Festival is going to be opened on 21st August by showing films from Romania, France, England, America, Spain, and Ireland.

Some short films made by the famous artists such as Kate Hudson and Kirsten Dunst, a famous Hollywood actor, are going to be shown and also there will be other films in which Jessica Biel, Dana Delany, and David Arquette have been played.

Also, David Ansen, the famous film critics of Newsweek, Bill Pullman, the famous actor, and Sharon Badal, Tribeca Film Festival Short Film Programmer are going to attend other programs in the festival such as workshops, master classes and lectures.

The 14th edition of Palm Springs Short Film Festival will be ended on 27th August.
