SILVERDOCS Announces DOCS Rx Program

Short Film News - SILVERDOCS: AFI/Discovery Channel Documentary Festival announces the film, special event and conference programs in its DOCS Rx: A World of Documentaries on Global Health program.

This special sidebar presentation offers 8 documentary features from around the world, as well as panel and conference discussions bringing together educators, public health professionals and media leaders with documentary filmmakers to increase awareness and open a dialogue about the current state of global health.

SILVERDOCS 2006 DOCS Rx brings the most revealing, inspiring and thought-provoking documentaries to the big screen. As previously announced, the films in this program are eligible for a Best Global Health Award juried by members of the program's advisory committee.
