Short Film News (SFN)- For the last round of 2008 Jan Vrijman Fund which is related to IDFA, selected 24 projects.

According to this report, the projects were selected among 220 projects from 57 countries.

7 documentaries in Script and Project Developments and 10 films in Production and Post-production stages are among the selected ones.

Persian Fashionistas by Maryam Keshavarz and Maryam Ataee is one of the projects in the former stage.

Also there would be training programs and film screening in Iraq, Haiti, Syria, Morocco, Indonesia, and Mozambique with the financial support of Jan Vrijman Fund.

The total amount of the grant will be 239400 Euros for these projects.

Jan Vrijman Fund selects films and projects related to documentary cinema in the developing countries twice each year to support them financially.

The Fund announces for submission and after receiving the applications and reviewing them, selects them.
