Short Film News (SFN) – L'Alternativa Barcelona Independent Film Festival invited filmmakers to submit their films for its 16th edition which will run13-21 November at Spain.

The event has three competitive sections: Fiction Feature, Documentary Feature and Shorts, duration should be up to 40 minutes.

L’Alternativa, Barcelona Independent Film Festival is a platform for the promotion and distribution of films, which for their innovative character are unable to find a way into main exhibition and distribution circuits.

As well as the international competition, the festival also screens retrospectives, thematic programs, works from international film schools, offers a free screen and organizes workshops, round tables, concerts and etc.
