9th Third Eye Festival Calls for Entries

Short Film News (SFN)- Third Eye Asian Film Festival invited filmmakers to submit their films for its 9th edition which will run Oct 28 - Nov 4, 2010 at Mumbai.

The event has two competitive sections: First / Second Film Competition which dedicates to the films made by Asian director, and Short Film Competition.

Short fiction films which made two years before the festival are eligible for Short Film Competition. Duration should be up to 30 minutes. Running time of more than 30 minutes will be at the discretion of Festival Director.

Both competitions have cash prize to the director.

Established in 2002 in the Metropolis of Mumbai, Third Eye Asian Film Festival is the only festival in India promoting Asian Cinema. The Asian Films have no theatrical release in India. However slowly importers are buying now Asian Films for theatrical release.

The Third Eye Asian Film Festival screens more than 100 films, 50 short
films for the 50,000 viewers.
