Short Film News (SFN)- The Festival de Cannes announced its Cinefondation and short film jury. 

Canadian filmmaker Atom Egoyan will preside over the Cinefondation Jury alongside French actress Emmanuelle Devos, Russian actress Dinara Droukarova, Brazilian director Carlos Diegues and Spanish director Marc Recha.

In 1998, the Festival de Cannes created the Cinefondation to inspire and support the next generation of international filmmakers. Since then, with the help of the Festival, the Cinefondation has developed complementary programmes to help achieve its goal. 

The Festival de Cannes runs May 12-23 in Cannes.
