Short Film News (SFN) - The Grand Prix of Tampere Short Film Festival went to Pablo Lamar's I Hear Your Scream, which was the first Paraguayan film to participate in the festival's international competition.
The Best Animation award was snatched by British Laurie Hill's Photograph of Jesus. The animation tells of a search for impossible photographs.
Iranian Massoud Bakhshi's Bagh Dad Bar Ber was awarded as the Best Fiction and Andreas Grafenstein and Fabian Daubin's Left Behind won the Best Documentary category.
Polish Pawel Ferdek's documentary The Glass Trap received the Tampere EFA nomination, which means that it will be competing for the title of the best European short film.
The International Jury awarded three Diplomas of Merit. The awarded films were Momoko Seto's animation Planet A, Finnish Iris Olsson's documentary Between Dreams, and Iranian Mahmoud Falavarjan's fiction Zeestan (Life).
In Lab10 Competition, main prize went to Tale of Little Puppetboy by Johannes Nyholm from Sweden.
Tampere Film Festival runs March 4-8 in Finland.
