Miami Short Fest to Showcase 22 Countries

Short Film News (SFN) - Short films from Iran, Denmark, UK, the Arctic, and US will open the 7th Miami Short Film Festival on November 17.

The festival will show over 80 films from 22 countries show throughout 22 screenings at 6 venues. Panel discussions, filmmaker Q&As, and after-parties are included in the event.

Opening and Red Carpet Gala will be held on at the University of Miami’s Bill Cosford Cinema, while Awards Night on November 22 at the Miami Science Museum & Planetarium will screen winning films, award the $12,000 Grand Prize and close the festival.

The Painting by Alireza Talebzadeh is the Iranian film which will be shown in festival's opening and Pedram Goshtasbpour's E1even Roses and Akbar Nazemi's Unseen Devotion are the other Iran representatives at the festival.
