Short Film News (SFN) - The 3rd Didar International Film Festival opened yesterday October 12 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.
The festival which is specified to screening fiction short and feature films was opened yesterday with Afghan filmmaker Homayoun Morovat's An Apple from Paradise.
In the opening ceremony the festival's honorary award was dedicated to Ezatollah Entezami, the Iranian veteran actor and Safar Haqdododov, the festival director, informed the audiences of establishing Ezatollah Entezami Award in the next edition of Didar Festival.
The 3rd edition of Didar Festival will be continued till 16th October by screening films in Domkino of Dushanbe and the jury members are: Roya Sadat from Afghanistan and Philippe Jalladeau from France, Franz Frei from Switzerland, Houshang Golmakani from Iran, and Tolibkhon Shahidi from Tajikistan.
The president of jury is the Tajik Judge.

Iran Wins Best Short Film Award at Didar Festival
Short Film News (SFN) -The winners of the third Didar Festival were announced on the National day of Tajikistan Cinema, 16th October, in Mayakovsky Hall in Dushanbe, Tajikistan and the award of the best short film went to Iran.
