Short Film News (SFN) - The 4th EuroAsia Shorts Film Festival will screen 38 short films from Europe, Asia and the United States on the themes of City/Urban Living, Beauty, Generation & Aging, Fears & Phobias, and Humor.

The films, which were selected by each partnering Embassy or Cultural Center from over 120 submissions, will be shown at embassies and cultural centers throughout Washington from 1 to 6 June.

Under the direction of Jon Gann, founder of the DC Shorts Film Festival, and consultant to other fests through his consulting firm, Reel Plan, the event focuses on a myriad of themes throughout the week, instead of a single theme for five days. 

The films serve as a springboard to discussion of the themes and how they are addressed in different countries, particularly through the medium of film.  The nightly discussions will be moderated by a panelist of the host's choosing and a local filmmaker or film critic.
