Short Film News (SFN) - International Film Festival Zoom - Zblizenia 2009 will take place in February 17 – 22, 2009 in Jelenia Gora, Poland and accepts entries to the end of December.

The festival comprises independent, amateur, and student film categories and will award approximately 10 prizes to best films.

The independent film group is geared towards independent film makers. The student film category is for graduates and students of film making and art major in schools and universities.

The  amateur  film  class  is  for  those  who  make  movies not professionally and the only restriction is duration-it can't exceed 20 minutes.

Grand Prix along with prizes for the best feature, documentary, cartoon, experimental film or clip, student film, independent film and the best amateur film will be awarded.

Special awards at jury and the organizer discretion will go to the winners.

There will also be Made in Karkonosze award granted to filmmakers from the region of Jelenia Gora.
