Short Film News (SFN) - The 7th International Film School Meeting will take place on September 25 - 26, 2008 at the 56th San Sebastian International Film Festival.
During the meeting, which accepts short films till July 10, young filmmakers show their works, attend meetings with professionals and discover some of the latest aspects offered by audiovisual technology.
Each candidate school can present three short films. A total of 12 schools will be chosen to participate in the San Sebastian Festival with screening of the works chosen from the three presented for selection.
A special jury consisting of students from the participating schools and chaired by a well-known person from the international film industry will choose the winner of the aiTe Award carries 6,000 Euros in post-production services for the winning director.
This same Jury will also choose three directors who will have the opportunity to participate with their works in the next Cannes Festival Short Film Corner
The International Film School Meeting, organized by San Sebastian Festival and Tabakalera (International Contemporary Culture Centre of San Sebastian) proposes an exchange of audiovisual experiences and knowledge at one of the most important movie events in the world.
