Short Film News (SFN) - Romanian film, A Good Day For A Swim by Bogdan Mustata won the Golden Bear for best short film at 58th Berlin International Film Festival.
Mustata's film is a compelling story about three juvenile delinquents who break out of prison and the jury told in a statement, "The film raises questions about its issues rather than bring resolution to them. It does so in a very precise and unpredictable way."
The jury members, Marc Barbe, Ada Solomon and Laura Tonke also present the Silver Bear to (Un)ravel by Siddharth Sinha from India.
The UIP Prize for best European short film went to Frankie by Darren Thornton from Ireland, while Russian Olga Popova's B teme won DAAD Short Film Prize.
Also, two Special Mentions from jury went to Superficie by Rui Xavier and RGB XYZ by David OReilly.
Berlin Film Festival will go on till February 17.
