Short Film News (SFN)- The winners of the 30th edition of Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival announced on Saturday and the Grand Prix of International Competition went to a co-production of Germany and Switzerland.
Auf der Strecke by Reto Caffi received the Grand Prix of International Competition.
The film is the story of a department store security guard who is racked by guilt after not helping someone who was being attacked in the subway.
In the National Competition the winner is Como todo el mundo by Franco Lollia and the Grand Prix of Lab Competition dedicated to an animation: Pikapika by Kazue Monno and Takeshi Nagata.
In International Competition The Wednesdays (Conor Ferguson) from Ireland received the Audiences Prize and Mompelaar (Wim Reygaert & Marc Roels) received Special Jury Prize.
Also the Best Animation Film Award was dedicated to The Pearce Sisters from U.K and Canal + Award went to I Love Sarah Jane from Australia and U.S.A.
Youth Jury Prize was given to Rene by Tobias Nolle from Switzerland and La Rebelion de los Pinguinos by Simon Bergman from Chile won Press Prize.
Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival is the most important short film festival in the world and took place from 1 to 9 February.
