Short Film News (SFN)- The 54th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen announced the call entry.

This festival is going to take place from 1 to 6 May 2008 and for the first time, there are two separate entry deadline for International and German films competitions.

The International submissions must have reached Oberhausen by 1 February 2008, German productions by 15 February 2008.

In addition, preview copies will be accepted on DVD only. However, DVD will no longer be accepted as a screening format.

In the International competition the films less than 35 minutes in length are acceptable.

The total amount of the prize in the International competition is 24 thousand Euros.

All entries to the International and German competitions that are appropriate for the Children's and Youth Film Competition will be participated in this section.
