Short Film News (SFN)- The British Short Screenplay Competition (BSSC) is now accepting submissions for its sixth annual competition, and this year for the first time the BSSC will produce three winning screenplay.

The BSSC undertakes to produce the winning screenplays, and the average budget of the last three films it produced was $340,000.

Alan Parker, Kenneth Branagh, Charles Dance, Mehdi Norrowzian, Nik Powell have been among the jury till now.

The British Short Screenplay Competition is now receiving entries for the 2007 competition. The early deadline for entries is April 27, 2007 and the final closing deadline is June 22, 2007.
