Short Film News- The 22nd Hamburg International Short Film Festival inaugurated today and will be continuing until 5th of June.
Hamburg Short Film Festival consists of 5 competitive parts and 5 special sections this year, and one Iranian film and 2 Iranian co-productions would be shown in the festival.
In the international section of the festival consisting of 8 thematic sections, The Free Line directed by Naghi Nemati would be shown.
In this part, the winners will be awarded Hamburg Short Film award, the Francois Ode award, honorary prize for special humanitarian expression, Audience award and Arte prize.
No Budget Competition is another section of this festival in which home made and experimental movies, and all the films made with a limited budget would be shown.
Zwei Monate Sein, a co-production of Iran and Germany directed by Azin Feizabadi and Tropi Abbas, a co-production of Brazil and Iran about the distinguished Iranian filmmaker, Abbas Kiarostami, directed by Paolo Gregory will participate in this part of the festival.
The other competitive parts of the festival are "Made in Germany" and "Made in Hamburg" and "Three Minute Quickie".
Mo & Friese Children’s Short Film Festival is held as a part of Hamburg Short Film Festival as well.
