Cannes Unveils Short Film and Cinefondation Programs

Short Film News (SFN) - 9 short films will compete in the short film competition section of 61st Cannes International Film Festival.

In a press conference today, the festival organizers announced that 17 films, also, have been selected to be screened in Cinefondation section (Student film competition).

Hou Hsiao Hsien, the famous Taiwanese filmmaker, will be the jury president of these two sections.

Suzanne Bier (Danish director), Marina Hands (French actress), Olivier Assayas (French director), and Larry Kardsh (MoMA Curator for Film and Cinema, from US) are the other jury members of short film and Cinefondation sections.

The 61st Cannes International Film Festival will take place from 14 till 25 May.

Love You More by Sam Taylor-Wood
