Evora Short Film Festival Winners Announced

Short Film News (SFN)- The winners of the 6th Evora International Short Film Festival (FIKE) was announced on Saturday night.

In the Official Competition where Kamran Shirdel was among the jury members, the award was dedicated to The Pilgrims of Pomegranate Valley by Ashkan Ahmadi from Iran.

It Wasn't God's Will by Antonio Ferreira won the best fiction and the best Portuguese Short Film Awards.

The best animation award went to Tragic History with Happy Ending by Regina Pessoa from Portugal and Thirst by Martin Repka from Slovakia won the Super Short Award.

In the Special Competition with the subject of Taxi and Urban Mobility the best award went to Spanish film: Nothing to Lose by Rafa Russo.

Also the International Federation of Film Societies gave special mention to Sweden film: A Little Tiger and gave their award to Indians by Sam Hearn and Richard Renfold from the U.K.

And the Audience Award went to Maestro by Geza M. Torg from Hungary.

The 6th Evora International Short Film Festival took place from 16 to 24 November in Portugal.
