Short Film News (SFN) - Haber, Daniel Ragussis' short film about Nobel Prize-winning chemist Fritz Haber, won the LA Shorts Film Festival's Best of the Fest award.

The festival which run from August 15-21, presented the Best Drama award to Chief by Brett Wagner and the Best Foreign Film award to German Peter Ladkani for Positive Prognosis.

Travis Pastrana - Driven by Leandro HBL won Best Documentary prize, while Kunio Kato's The House of Small Cubes was announced as Best Animation.
