Microsoft is Making Films for Xbox Users

Short Film News (SFN)- Microsoft intends to offer a series of comedy short films directed by horror filmmakers for XBOX 360 users.

The films are going to be available free of charge in XBOX Live website from autumn.

The idea first suggested by James Gunn (Slither, Dawn of the Dead) and Peter Safran (Scary Movie, Meet the Spartans) and Microsoft is going to make the short films with the cooperation of Safran digital team.

Other recognizable filmmakers in this project are: James Wan, the filmmaker of Saw, David Slade the director of 30 Days of Night, Marcus Nispel the filmmaker of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday the 13th, Lucky McKee the director of The woods.

Safran said :" We are very excited to make the films with the cooperation of these modern and experienced filmmakers for XBOX. We expect to watch creative, terror and comedy films from these terror cinema masters in which these masters will offer their comedian point of view to the audiences."
