Short Film News (SFN) - The 24th International Short Film Festival Hamburg (IKFF Hamburg) is going to screen 300 short films from 40 countries from June 4th to June 9th.
The festival programmers chose these films among near 4000 works from 108 countries which were submitted for the different categories.
All in all, 214 films will compete for 30,000 euros worth in prize money in 3 categories; include No Budget Competition, International Competition and Three Minute Quickie.
Also, the 10th Mo & Friese Children's Short Film Festival is showing about 53 international shorts in more than 20 screenings for 4 different age brackets from June 1st to June 8th.
Retrospective of "Munchner Gruppe", Tomorrow's Yesterday, Shorts from Israel, and A Wall is a Screen are the titles of IKFF's special programs.
