Selected Films for International Competition of Tehran Short Film Festival are Announced

Short Film News (SFN)- The selected films for the International competition of 24th National and 12th International Tehran Short Film Festival are announced.

Among the received films, only 99 films from 48 countries are selected to compete in the international section of the festival.

26 thousand Euros is the total amount of the prizes to be given to the best films in International Competition and Special Competition. In International Competition 3 thousand Euros would dedicate to each best work in fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental, together with a Festival trophy and an honored diploma and the Grand Prize of this section including a festival trophy, an honored diploma and 5 thousand Euros, would be given to the best film.  

Also in International Cinema Section there will be three other sections: Asian Pacific, Questing the Truth, Films about Islam and 9 thousand Euros will be given to each best film in these three sections together with a festival trophy and an honored diploma.

The 24th National Festival and 12th Tehran International Short Film Festival is going to take place from 13 till 18 November 2007 in Tehran.
