Short Film News - Abbasi Kiarostami made a short film about cinema on the occasion of the 60th edition of Cannes Festival and by the command of this festival.

According to a person in responsible for his films, this film is about "cry and cinema" and many Iranian actors and actresses will act in it. It is going to be shown in 60th edition of Cannes Festival along with other films on cinema made by the most famous filmmakers in the world.

Also Kiarostami has a training workshop on the philosophy and the methods of his filmmaking in the 16th edition of Oslo Festival in Norway whose main focus, this year, is on Iranian films and filmmakers.

This workshop is just for Norwegian filmmakers and only 28 persons can participate in it. After finishing this workshop, Kiarostami's lectures and his poems, Along with the Wind, would be printed in Norwegian.

The Norwegian Film Organization would show all the films by this filmmaker during this workshop and also there would be an exhibition of his photos in the Stenersen Museum.
